MJR Music Teaching – Music lessons
Under the name of MJR Music Productions, weekly lessons are given in education, ranging from the primary school to the music conservatory. We are committed to music education for the less fortunate and pupils with disabilities, especially in special education.. This can differ from pupils that are difficult to educate, to children with multiple disabilities. We also work together with the youth culture fund in Amsterdam and surroundings.
In some cases, we are using music as a therapeutic treatment..
Workshops
We also give percussion workshops to companies and institutions (djembe, Latin perscussion).
This can be used, for example, in team building workshops.
Band/Vocal coaching (each music company including sound engineer)
During these workshops, we pay attention to:
– creating a sound as a band;
– method of rehearsal (preparation, vocal warming ups etc);
– mutual communication (on stage);
– everything you need to know about sound and music technicalities.
Private music lessons
In our private practice you can go for tailor-made music lessons and especially talent development.
We work with every entry level and together determine the goals that people want to achieve. What we find important is that people start growing within their own frameworks.
The lessons that you can follow are:
– guitar (classical, electric, bass guitar);
– vocal coaching;
– percussielessen.
Special about these lessons is that after some time, Recordings are made in our home studio. The purpose of this is to be able to measure the auditory result against the students' progress.
