My story:
I'm sitting like 4 year in class and made a lot of progress in that time. From barely remembering how to hold your hands, to composing your own pieces and playing existing songs flawlessly. Marlon has helped me tremendously in both theoretical knowledge about chords and compositions and in getting pleasure from making music. I never dread lessons because they always offer surprises and new insights into the musical world. I also really like Marlon's way of explaining. Every lesson is different from the last. Even if you work on the same project for several weeks, Marlon knows how to color every lesson by highlighting different aspects of the music.

In addition to learning theory, there is always room to make your own proposals or to play a piece of music. Then Marlon can help you improve your techniques and stimulate your creativity. The lessons feel very personal. Besides that Marlon works very professionally, he feels like someone you can rely on. He's not mad when you can't do something, but directs you in such a way that you can do it after a week. There is a cozy atmosphere and this also ensures that I enjoy coming to Amsterdam every week. His teaching method has ensured that I now compose music myself and easily learn new songs by heart.

I have been taking lessons with Marlon for almost a year and I have learned a lot. Marlon gives private lessons and therefore he can give you a lot of attention and improve your negatives. I can also come up with songs that I like and then we will play them together.
